Prof. Dr. Rukman Hertadi, S.Si., M.Si. is a Professor of Physical Biochemistry at Institut Teknologi Bandung. Currently serving as the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs at FMIPA ITB, he leads a dedicated research group focused on uncovering the potential of Indonesian extremophilic bacteria.
His research group at the Biochemistry Laboratory integrates structural biology, kinetics, and thermodynamics to understand protein stability and function.
With over 899 citations and 35+ research papers, Prof. Hertadi has made significant contributions to the field of biochemistry, particularly in the exploration of biomolecules from halophilic bacteria and their applications in various industries including energy, healthcare, and cosmetics.
